GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone | GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone at 1080p and 1440p
Intro
Hello and welcome back to another article, in this one my friends I am going to be testing the Geforce GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone. I am running it using the latest Nvidia drivers at the time of writing this article, and this one is well it's there's only Founders Edition versions of the GTX Titan X, actually reference editions because the founders only came with 10 series, but anyways this is a Titan X 12 gigabytes of VRAM, of course, and that should be plenty for Call of Duty Warzone. I hope as usual I am running it using a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 gigabytes of RAM.
1080p
Let's get right into it, shall we? Let's quickly go through the settings. I am playing at 1080p resolution at the moment, and I am also going to test this one at 1440p, and 2160p or 4k resolution. As I am telling you that I am running it using the high settings or very high settings or ultra settings. Whatever you want to call it the game has no presets, but it's maxed out except for a few over here which I don't like, actually you know what I am going to go straight for that bill maybe that is a bad idea, that is a bad idea never mind I am not going to go straight for that building anymore.
So, it's already dropping from 60 frames by the way that is pretty stupid to me when this game came out a Titan X would probably be able to run it at like 100 FPS average at least at high settings and 1080p resolution, but now it runs at like 75. That is really bad guys now, of course, it's only here because that building is completely broken, but I expected way higher FPS coming from the Titan X in this one. It's again a couple of stutters there as well, not sure why those are happening.

I haven't seen stuttering issues in Warzone, to be honest, maybe they broke something the only thing I couldn't complain about before was the stuttering issues because there were none, but now it stutters slightly at times as I am telling you their frame time is not perfect.

Unfortunately, that is super weird anyway, as I am telling you getting 60 here looking at the entire city if we drop in that direction it might drop to 56, 57 or 58. It's not too bad, but it's just very underwhelming to see this kind of performance coming from the Titan X because I know that it did way better I remember even like the RX 570 got higher FPS than these when the game launched. So, it's just stupid, and of course, the RX 570 is way slower than the GTX Titan X. Okay, now 77 FPS average 55 lows.
1440p
1440p now still using the highest settings, as I am telling you and now I am kind of in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, is this high refresh rate yes it still is but it's very close to 60 frames, so, it's not the greatest thing in the world. Let's see if I can spot some of them yeah those stutters are super annoying and distracting there's another one behind me, okay leave it.
I want to go back to the downtown area to take a look at the big building once again, so I am here at 54. It is all right guys, it is not really a very competitive experience, but I could still have fun like this, and if you want the best visuals at 1440p, well, I think it is still playable with the Titan X, but again I know that it was better before.

So, it sucks the 40s, and it's okay at least it does not drop into the 30s while dropping here at 45. I could live with it definitely, for sure, but I would much rather play the game at low settings. I got to test a little bit of 4k as well, and I will do that later to write another article on the performance of GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone at 4K, but I think the Titan X is not a 4k card anymore, it was debatable back in 2015 when it launched. But in demanding titles in 2021 at least well it's not a good idea to play it at 4K.
Conclusion
GTX Titan X is a high-end GPU that should have provided us with a high refresh rate experience, but the developers have messed with the optimization of the Call of Duty Warzone. Whereat the launch of COD Warzone the GTX Titan X provided us with 100 FPS on average easily at 1080p very high settings, but now it hardly manages to stay above 60 FPS in more demanding areas. At 1440p, I also have seen some huge stutters here and there, which is not very good.
If you want to enjoy the high refresh rate even with a GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone you will have to lower your settings down to get that. I think that has been it for today’s article, and I will catch you in the next one, and as always, love you all bye-bye.
Good work 💯
