GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone at low settings

GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone at low settings

Intro

Hello and welcome back to another article, in this one my friends I am going to be testing the Geforce GTX Titan X in Call of Duty Warzone at low settings. I am running it using the latest Nvidia drivers at the time of writing this article, and this one is well it's there's only Founders Edition versions of the GTX Titan X, actually reference editions because the founders only came with 10 series, but anyways this is a GTX Titan X 12 gigabytes of VRAM, of course, and that should be plenty for Call of Duty Warzone. I hope as usual I am running it using a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 gigabytes of RAM.

1080p - Low settings

I am back to it at 1080p resolution, I just restarted the game to fully apply the low settings by the way texture resolution is still set to normal because of 12 Gigs of VRAM. it's just, they might as well use some higher than low textures to make it look a little bit better, these two caches are also enabled because they do provide a couple of more FPS everything else set to the lowest settings.

All right I just dropped here in this huge building, and let's start counting our FPS, but it seems like it's a little bit better for sure than high settings, but not a lot better you know. It doesn't scale very well Call of Duty Warzone with these settings. Unfortunately, it's also stuttering way less, I have only seen as a few stutters so far there's one right there, but yeah it was much more noticeable on the higher settings.

I think they probably just screwed up something in terms of the optimization with one of the recent small updates, but they should fix it in no time, I hope so at least. I remember getting these FPS at the launch at 1080p low settings, and I think with the GTX 1060 and considering this should be way faster than that, it's just a shame the state of this game these days.

1440p - Low Settings

2560 by 1440 still low settings, of course, and let's do it once again. Let’s start counting the frames this is way better than 1440p high that is for sure. There's a big difference here at this resolution that was close all right. I am dead as well I guess are dropping way too much here for some reason don't know why so weird, 49 there, and the 70s, 60s it's okay it could be worse.

Still, it is very playable indeed looking at it from here. Yeah, 70s 60s it might drop from 60 from up there by the way. Let's see the FPS here taking a look at the entire city drops from 60 so it's not 60 plus all of the time, but it's pretty close and I feel pretty comfortable with this experience, and I could recommend this 1440p with GTX Titan X at low.

4K

Now, can it get 60 FPS at 4k resolution? 3840 by 2160 still using the same settings here, you know what they should do in my opinion lower the low settings like low settings in this game doesn't look bad. It doesn't look very different from high at least, so, making like a lowest settings preset or something like that would go a long way to help people play this game better.

I don't think that is ever going to happen, but it's just something that would be great because at 1080p, for example, we went from what 75 FPS average to 105. That is not a massive improvement, especially considering that that is the difference from ultra too low. Oh my God! that is awful some things are broken in this game, and you will see some drops here and there. Unfortunately, just the reality of Warzone, so I am going to reload here see that see the FPS drop just because of reloading it wasn't the animation that showed up on the screen, and I am going to do it again.

I hope the warzone developers start reading some of my articles because I always complain about these little things, and it's super annoying. It is just super annoying, and they never fix it. I do not know why? It just makes for an awful experience, and I guess I am going to die now, seeing some explosions at least. Thank you very much for reading this article hope you enjoyed it, and I will catch you in the next one very soon as always, love you all bye-bye.

We're using the latest Nvidia drivers 472.12. This one is the MSI gaming X version of the card, it comes already overclocked out of the box, and I’m not pushing it further as I am telling you here, and as usual, I’m running it on a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 Gigabytes of RAM to avoid any CPU or RAM bottlenecks, after all, we are testing the GPU here. So, we don't want to bottleneck it if we did bottleneck it we would be testing the CPU.
