Can I play Battlefield 2042 on GTX 1080 ti on High Settings || GTX 1080 ti in Battlefield 2042

Intro

Hello and welcome to my blog, today in this one I am going to be testing the GTX 1080 ti in Battlefield 2042. Let's get into the article, I am running it using a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 Gigabytes of RAM as always, and the 1080ti is an 11 Gigabyte card running the latest drivers of course. So, let’s start, and see how the performance of GTX 1080 ti in Battlefield 2042 Beta is?

1080p High Settings 

Let's get into the game, shall we? First of all, let's go through the settings I am playing at 1080p resolution at the High settings right now I am also going to test it at 1440p and at the low settings as well at both resolutions, and I have never played this game except for benchmarking, and article writing, by the way, this is going to be my first impressions of the Beta I’m very excited 1080ti, and why was I walking backwards I don't know, a good start though you can double sprint by the way if you don't know you click two times like in Call of Duty Warzone.

I’m going to start counting our fps here we go, 11 gigabytes of VRAM remember that it should be plenty for this game although it actually maxes out the 3080, I think of 1440p Ultra. Oh my God! maybe it's the sand probably no it's just because the game started right now, and every single time when this game starts it stutters for the first like 2 minutes or so, it's normal. It's the time you are getting to the point I guess maybe we should restart the counting system, and we got the stutter right away again, this is the last time I’m restarting it.

All right stutter again, another set, I don't care to keep on going you can double sprint, by the way, why do you want me to double spray because it's faster well where do I have to go. Go whatever you want, I don't think there's anybody in A1 but you got to go to f I think also you can use some attachments by clicking T in this game. It's different from the previous Battlefields that are nice I don't know any of this does, but I’m going to put it anyways. I know it's conquest, and I don't know how to play conquest, but why I am taking so long to get somewhere, it's a sniper because the map is huge, and there are 128 players.

That's more than Battle Royale like usually, that's a hundred exactly you can do. Why do I take so long to get there? Because I didn't grab a vehicle, you could have always had to grab a vehicle I would like to see somebody because I like to try the weapon, but I always run away I don't confront him. So, what do you think about the performance of your 1080 ti at 1080p high? There's a tank by the way I can't play because it's a 1080 ti, but it's not really good for a 1080 ti in 1080p like this should be the performance in 1440p, Battlefield Games are usually very well optimized.

I don't know why this one isn't maybe after the Beta, but when it comes out probably very likely I really hope so at least because in Battlefield 5 we were actually getting like 120 FPS on Average at 1440p High or Ultra. Now it's a tank coming from the sky what the hell? There are four, and they do that in real life. I’m dead now, and FPS is dropping into the 70s at times, it's not very good for a 1080 ti.

1440p High Settings

So, 2560 by 1440 using High settings still, and okay 60s. I’m going to leave this place, and it's going to go down from 60 maybe I’m going to look outside, and oh actually more FPS outside, that's not bad actually these are not bad results, of course, I’d expect better but after everything that I played in the Beta, and I tested, explosions are not really intensive, and that's a very minor one. What the hell is that? Is that even a grenade it's getting around the same as 1080p?

Maybe it's just this area that is less intensive, I got to go to another I guess it doesn't have stuttering right now. Now I am in a forestry area, and it's still in the 60s, and I haven't seen it dropping from 60. 1% lows are below 60 because of stuttering issues, and frame time spikes everywhere in this Beta, but I think this is quite playable for someone that's playing this game casually and wants good graphics and a sharp resolution of 1440p.

I think the GTX 1080 ti does a really good job, and so should the like 2080 ti because it should be very similar in performance to this one, but it's really expensive. It's in Battlefield Games I don't know why I never look at the map. It's a little bit bugged in the bait it's just baited things, you might want to leave, it's going to give me motion sickness, I got him I’m playing now with the mouse I am playing with the keyboard come on. This is Battlefield, a little futuristic, so, you never know fair enough.

Conclusion 

In the end, I would like you to suggest playing Battlefield 2042 with GTX 1080 ti on 1440p because, at this resolution, the game is looking awesome and sharp. The FPS are pretty much the same as you get on 1080p resolution, but the number of FPS is not the much satisfying as one should get with the 11 Gigabytes of VRAM at 1080p.

That is why I would like to play this game personally at 1440p High Settings with GTX 1080 ti.
