GT 1030 in ARK Survival Evolved | Is ARK Survival Evolved playable on GT 1030?

Intro

Hello and welcome back to another article in this one my friends I am going to be testing the Geforce GT 1030 GDDR5 in ARK Survival Evolved. This one is the MSI Aero version of the card that comes already overclocked out of the box and I am running it using the latest Nvidia drivers that are 472.12 at the time of writing this article.

I am also running it with a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 gigabytes of RAM, not that you need these specs to achieve the same FPS, by the way, something like an i5 4460, or Ryzen 3 1200 with 8 or 16 Gigabytes of RAM will do the job just fine, and will max out the GT 1030.

1080p

So, let's get right into the game, shall we? Okay, so, instead of playing it using the normal mode which is super intensive, I am going to launch it with the DirectX 10, low-end graphics mode because it will give us a lot more FPS. Now, let's go over the settings, I am playing at 1080p, and I am also going to test this one at 900p and 720p using the low settings. This is the low settings preset, but I am going to make a couple of changes here, first of all, I am going to disable light bloom because it looks horrible in this game in my opinion, and second I am going to disable Anti-aliasing, and set the resolution scale to 100

So, I am playing at the resolution shown here, apply that, save it, and get into a single-player game in Ragnarok. Yes, from what you have told me Ragnarok is actually the most intensive map, and this is also one of the most intensive areas. I believe this is like the redwood forest, somebody told me at least, and yeah, as I am telling you it's quite playable here with the GT 1030, not too bad considering it is ARK Survival Evolved and it's above 30 FPS

Well, you can't ask for much more than that, to be honest, especially because we are at 1080p resolution, the vegetation and stuff don't lower our FPS by much, and the water is still looking great. Although the rest of things are just horrible you know, that's what you have to deal with, if you want to play on the low settings, even though we are playing on the lowest settings with the low-end graphics mode in DirectX 10, yeah 1030 still drops into the 30s quite often as I am telling you guys, very close to 30 actually, also very lovely to see that the game is still in Beta, and I also set it to like very easy difficulty, and so.

The dinosaurs don't attack me because I am always dying in this game, they still attack me. Do they take some health off of me? No, they don't I am an immortal now, yes, wrecked you, pastors. So, let's get out of the redwood forest for a little bit here at 1080p, as I am telling you it's going up, why do you do this why do you? You want to fight me, bro, Goddamn chickens come on getting over here, you are running away now. Aren't you? Yeah, that's right, I am an immortal now, nice all right, let's get to the influence, oh what? I still died, oh no, are you serious!

It's more intensive, but I think it shouldn't be more GPU intensive, it is probably more CPU intensive, and if you have a CPU bottleneck, well, you're going to see less FPS online than in a single player. That's a lot of stuff that I just grabbed, that's a custom server by me. It is very beautiful, and I don't understand anything about this game.

900p

We should test medium settings as well, a little bit later on in the article, but let's test 1600 by 900 first and see how many frames we gain. So, we were at like 44 here, it seems like we gained like 11 frames per second which is pretty good. I am a total noob at ARK Survival Evolved, let's start counting our FPS, I guess, I might have changed, that looks so weird right there.

Our FPS are about to drop a lot here, I think this is it, right it's dropping into the 50s like the lower 50s and high 40s at times. As expected, I am getting like the lower 40s in this area, and it's still pretty good guys. I could play this game like this as it's a survival game, and not a competitive shooter, so, I think you'll have fun with 1030 here if you overlook the horrible graphics from this DirectX 10 mode. I think that's it for 900p.

720p

let's stop it there 40 something frames per second, and let's go ahead, and do a little bit of 720p now. Here we go, 1280 by 720 everything else is still the same on the low settings, and we are getting very close to 60 FPS now, so, the 60 FPS average experience at least is possible while maintaining playable graphics, you know because if you go lower than 720p, it's going to look bad and I don't think it's enjoyable anymore, to be honest, like in some games you can get by with 800x600.

But this is a very detailed game, it has a lot of little things, and you just be at a disadvantage because you can't really see things properly at the distance, especially, I am glad, and I am not scared of these things anymore. The fur looks super weird here on low settings, but well, I guess if you're playing in the multiplayer or a normal server, you're not going to stand very close to these huge beasts. I hope it is playable with the medium settings.

I think that's been it for this article, ARK Survival Evolved on the GT 1030, hope you enjoyed it, and I hope it was informative to you. I will catch you in the next one very soon, and as always love you all bye-bye.

Conclusion

Although GT 1030 does not have a good image, but it can still perform very well in ARK Survival Evolved in 2021. You can easily enjoy this game at 1080p low settings as I have told you above. If you want 60+ FPS experience with this card, you can easily achieve that at 720p. You can also play at 900p  getting decent performance from GT 1030 in ARK Survival Evolved.

Is RDR2 playable on GT 1030? | Red Dead Redemption 2 on GT 1030 Intro Welcome back to another Article, today my friends I’m going to be testing the Geforce GT 1030 GDDR5 in Red Dead Redemption 2 and this is actually going to be a retest because the game has been getting performance optimization patches and stuff like that, so it runs a lot better now than it did back when I tested this GPU the last time around. So, this one is the MSI Aero version of the card and we're running it with a Ryzen 9 5900X  and 32 Gigs of the ram of course you don't need these specs to not wear like a GT   1030 and get the same FPS you'll get the same FPS with the Ryzen 3 1200 and 8 Gigs of RAM in dual channel.

Nvidia T400 | Nvidia T400 tested in 6 Games

Nvidia T400 |  Nvidia T400 tested in 6 Games Intro Hello everyone, and welcome to another article now, this little thing is an Nvidia T400 . It is built on the Turing tu117 GPU architecture, and it supports DirectX 12, and best of all, it was in stock with two gigs of GDDR6 memory. It is sort of like a significantly cut down version of the latest GTX 1650, and while that isn't brilliant at playing games, but it can still offer acceptable performance in a lot of AAA releases, but can this? you might have already guessed that the T400 is a professional graphics card designed for use in workstations, though that doesn't mean you can't slap it in your gaming build, and fire up a few of your favourites, course, unlike traditional consumer cards.

GTX 1650 in Days Gone at 1080 - All Settings

GTX 1650 in Days Gone at 1080 - All Settings Intro Hello and welcome everyone to my Blog, in this article I am going to tell you the performance of GTX 1650 in Days   Gone at 1080p all settings. I am going to test the Days Gone with GTX   1650 paired with AMD Ryzen 5900X with 32 GB RAM. 16 Gigabytes of RAM should be enough to run this game smoothly you specifically do not require 32 GB RAM. The specs that I used are overkill for a GTX 1650 but you can get similar performance with i3 9100F with 16 GB of RAM. This game doesn’t require much beefy CPU to run this game smoothly. This game is well optimized and can run smoothly on any hardware.
