RX 570 in Call of Duty Vanguard Beta 1080p All settings- Low, Medium, High and Ultra

RX 570 in Call of Duty Vanguard 1080p all settings- Low, Medium, High and Ultra

Intro

Hello guys Hassan here and welcome back to another article and in this one my friends I’m going to be testing the Radeon RX 578 Gigabyte model in Call of Duty Vanguard Beta. We're running it using the latest AMD drivers Adrenaline 2020 21.9.1. This is a stock version of the card it's the gigabyte MI version, and I overclocked it a little bit here, I pushed the power limit to plus 50 just to give it a little bit of more power. You know so it sucks all of the power it wants and I push the core clock to 1320 MegaHertz and the memory clock to 2000.

This is very easy to achieve overclock I’m running it using a Ryzen 9 5900x and 32 gigabytes of ram as usual to avoid any CPU bottlenecks. You should get the same FPS with something like a Ryzen 3 3300x for example and 16 gigabytes in dual channel.

1080p Low

So yeah that's it, let's get into it, shall we? First of all, let's go over the settings I’m playing at the lowest settings right now. We're also going to test this one at Medium, High, and Ultra. I’m going to skip low because well if you're playing on low you want the best FPS so you might go for lowest. I’m going to increase the texture resolution here, usually, textures don't really impact your FPS too much and it just makes everything look a lot better, so, let's set that to medium leave everything else at the lowest settings for that competitive experience.

Now I’m going to start counting our FPS right now and I honestly expected a little bit better coming from the RX 570. Okay look at that shadow bug right there it's still there at least they removed the lens flares from some of the maps already, so, I’m fine with that they're hearing some of the complaints but I’m not sure if they will fix those shadow issues. What the hell just happened? how did I die? But yeah I’m saying that because the shadows are like that in Call of Duty Modern Warfare and the Cold War as well so I don't see them fixing that issue.

One percent lows are at 60 so that's pretty good you know if you want to 60 plus experience all of the time this is its low settings at 1080p I honestly expected higher FPS coming from the RX 570. Depending on the map the FPS will be different but it doesn't differ that much you might see a little bit of fluctuation of course but this map is also pretty intensive the game is looking all right, the FPS dropped there by the way with the explosion.

Anyway, as I was saying the graphics look all right at low settings using RX 570 but it looks pretty decent I didn't expect that because with the 1050ti it looked horrible because of the textures mainly but yeah it seems like if you play the game at very low settings everything but keep the textures on the medium it'll look fine. It's going to be an enjoyable experience here with the RX 570 for sure. Look at that again it's a beta of course so bugs like that are to be expected, I just really hope that they will fix it.

1080p Medium

All right I just restarted the game guys we're playing at 1080p resolution once again, of course, using medium settings I just set the settings to what I think are the medium settings since the presets are not working. The weapon is looking weird there, it has a lot of noise very weird. Okay, I’m going to start counting our frames here seems like we didn't lose many frames like it's very similar to very low settings, to be honest guys might be some variation within the maps of course right here it's a lot more intensive we're getting 70s and stuff it might also have something to do with the game itself like in Call of Duty Warzone.

There's like a 20 FPS difference between low and Ultra settings, so, maybe this is just the same since it runs in the same engine as well. Now this is 6 vs 6 in this map and I don't like it, I think I’m just going to leave this one and play another map. So, this map will give us more of a better comparison between frames per second at low settings as well as highs and medium settings.

Yes, we're testing right now, it's very similar once again guys are very similar even in this map comparing it apples to apples to what we got at very low we might get like 5 less FPS here, one percent lows are below 60, so, it did drop from 60 frames at medium settings. It didn't at very low so if you must have that 60 plus FPS experience all of the time, very low is the way to go.

1080p High

It's a very enjoyable experience still much better than for example the 1050ti. Some people like to compare this card to GTX 1050ti, like that card was getting 30 to 40 FPS at 1080p very low so it's not even comparable, completely different leagues of performance, but yet there are still people comparing the RX 570 with the 1050ti. That's why I usually talk about them they also were pretty similarly priced when they came out. Well, we have both of them that's amazing.

We're playing on high settings I manually set everything I could too high it's still not maxed out there are a couple of settings that could go higher, so, it's still not Ultra settings and 1080p resolution. Once again let's go guys just started counting our FPS and it seems like uh we didn't really lose a lot of FPS once again and that noisy effect in the weapon is minimized now, it's still there you can notice if I zoom into it.

It looks way better right now and you still get those very high FPS, look at that 70s to 100s most of the time that's pretty good of course, it will drop in explosions especially. But it's not bad it's not bad at all whenever I’m playing 6 vs 6 guys. I don't like 6 vs 6 because I can't do anything. I think this map is more demanding than the others uh it has more details and stuff that makes sense and we are getting 60s here it's way slower. What is happening here? I can see so many like artifacts everywhere.

I don't know again it's debated to be expected bugs like that you know but just I don't know, I didn't see that happening. Yet, at least with lower settings this is way more clunky and it's dropping down into the 40s at times, so, again depending on the map you will see different results. Oh my God, that's intensive beautiful stuff, if you are only looking for a good visual experience never mind the bugs of the beta. This is all right, it could be worse.

1080p Ultra Settings

Finally, 1080p using the ultra settings everything is maxed out right now, as you can see this is it. Let's go so the game is still bugged you know I haven't seen those issues with the other cards that I tested so far, but it's here. I restarted the game already as well and it's still here, so I don't really know what that's all about, but all right there we go beautiful stuff. We're doing fine now come on I’m not sure if I like the fact that your character says double kill triple kill every time. He does that like it's kind of weird I hope the enemies don't hear you saying that otherwise, it's kind of a disadvantage.

I remember now in the same map I got some issues with the 1050ti, it was blinking a lot there were a lot of flickering textures and stuff like that and I’m not seeing that here with the RX 570. it's a bit of a different issue now for sure okay that's just my dad is calling me uh right and well you now know if you want to play the Beta and get 60 FPS just set it to very low settings and enjoy it if you want a more visual fidelity like experience you know you want the better graphics Ultra settings is certainly possible here. You get a 67 FPS average could be better. Thank you very much for reading, I'll catch you in the next one very soon and as always love you all bye.

We're using the latest Nvidia drivers 472.12. This one is the MSI gaming X version of the card, it comes already overclocked out of the box, and I’m not pushing it further as I am telling you here, and as usual, I’m running it on a Ryzen 9 5900X and 32 Gigabytes of RAM to avoid any CPU or RAM bottlenecks, after all, we are testing the GPU here. So, we don't want to bottleneck it if we did bottleneck it we would be testing the CPU.
